Cyber Security Advice and Legal Assistance: Regulation (EU) 2019/8811 defines cybersecurity as “the set of activities necessary to protect network and information systems, the users of those systems, and other affected persons from cyber threats.” In the latter meaning, cybersecurity represents that set of initiatives and activities promoted by the various stakeholders in cyberspace with the goal of preserving the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information (so-called RID) from cyber threats and risks.
